FLAB TO FAB

You’re over waiting for that unwanted fat to just drop off, right? I know, it’s painful and sometimes it feels like you just aren’t getting anywhere. What I’ve learnt is that being consistent is the best thing when it comes to weight loss. I bet you’ve had one of those weeks where you have exercised every day and eaten healthy but it gets to the weekend and you feel like you look the same or the scales haven’t moved so you demolish a block of chocolate or just pig out a little? I’ve been in your shoes trust me!

Unfortunately for some of us it’s going to be hard to see noticeable changes in a week or two or even three! Don’t ruin your hard work because your body isn’t changing as quick as you would like - because it will be changing! I’ve given up a million times, cried and absolutely hated what I saw in the mirror but it is extremely important to work on your mindset too.

You are you… nobody else. “I want her abs and that girls butt, oh oh and legs as long as a Victorias Secret model”- we’ve all imagined it. For years I spent my days wanting to be like every girl that inspired me.. that’s fine but I’ve what I’ve learnt is that there is no point trying to look like someone else because, well.. that isn’t really realistic. You are you - you are beautiful, be the best version of yourself and the best that YOU can be. Love yourself and the world will love you back!

I got a bit off track there (whoops). Consistency was where I was going with this. When you start treating your body right it is going to take a while to adjust to the exercise and new healthy diet. Your body will be LOVING you for it.

Make sure you are taking photos every week on the same day. This will help you to compare yourself and to monitor your changes. I didn’t see changes for a month when I first started trying to lose weight. The message in this post is that even though things visually aren’t changing doesn't meant they aren't changing. When I compare myself to back then I can see endless changes even though at the time I felt like I was getting nowhere. Stick to it and don’t let your hard work go to waste.

Have a read of my Coaching P.1 & P.2 which includes answers to what could also be hindering your weightless.

Be the best that YOU can be, that’s all that matters <3
