SPRING FLING

Who doesn’t love spring? I’m usually a monochrome type of girl when it comes to fashion but colour is definitely a must for the end of year seasons! I had so much fun shopping around Sunshine Plaza to put together some fresh new looks for Spring/Summer. I found some great pieces from Myer, Universal, Forever New & Dissh!

BLUE HUES

Magical blue hues and crystal clear waters. Ayana Luxury Resort put the cherry on top of my recent trip to Bali. Our short stay in this magical resort gave us endless amounts of things to do and see. Private beaches, 11 swimming pools and 15 restaurants to dine in.. how could you get bored?

Okay, I have to admit that I have a weak spot for sticky date pudding. I am forever replicating my favorite sweets into healthy alternatives. Your usual sticky date pudding is full of butter, dairy and refined sugar making it calorie central and stuck on your hips.

I didn't plan on blogging this recipe so please excuse the poor photo!! May not look good but sure tastes good.

I’ve made this recipe out of 100% healthy ingredients and of course it’s gluten and dairy free.. winning!

RAWR FOODS

After the Christmas holidays I was in desperate need of a detox. My body was feeling heavy, bloated and overall unhealthy. I began to eliminate all animal products to get my digestion moving properly and ate only fresh whole foods. I was feeling amazing after the first week but I was in serious need of something naughty.. this is where my Rawr Foods journey began.

You’re over waiting for that unwanted fat to just drop off, right? I know, it’s painful and sometimes it feels like you just aren’t getting anywhere. What I’ve learnt is that being consistent is the best thing when it comes to weight loss. I bet you’ve had one of those weeks where you have exercised every day and eaten healthy but it gets to the weekend and you feel like you look the same or the scales haven’t moved so you demolish a block of chocolate or just pig out a little? I’ve been in your shoes trust me!

SUPER BREAD



YUMMM! This bread is so delicious!! I almost ate half the loaf after I cooked it (whoops). If you're not a fan of eating seeds and nuts but hunting of ways to add them into your diet in a 'not so boring' way this is the bread for you. 

This bread contains so much nutrition! Nourish you body with magnesium, iron, zinc, protein, vitamins, calcium, omega-3 and fibre. Safe to say this bread is an all round super bread! 

My aim was to make this bread to smash my avo on in the mornings but when I tasted it I loved it on its own. Not to mention it tastes unreal when toasted (love heart eyes emoji) Feel free to eat it however you like! Toast it, add your fave toppings, dunk it in your soup.. the options are endless.

CHICKPEA PIZZA BASES


High Protein  •  Dairy Free  •  Vegan  •  Gluten Free

Pizza night just got a whole lot healthier!  I made a quick little post on instagram the other day announcing that I have decided to live the vegan lifestyle. It is super exciting to feel the changes in my body from eating such healthy and nutritious foods! It's been a little over a week now and my digestion and energy is fantastic (besides catching a little cold last week).

Annnyway.. I've been playing around with a heap of new recipes to create interesting foods that are completely vegan. I'm not a huge fan of bread so I created a chickpea pizza base last night. It is sooo delicious, crunchy and has high protein!

No need to have just one slice and feel guilty eating pizza anymore.. 
Heck! Go ahead and eat the whole thing if you wish!

Chickpeas are full of fiber, iron, vitamins & minerals. They also stabilize blood sugar levels and are low GI which is perfect for any weight loss diet.
